Kate Mallen is a singer songwriter from Buffalo, NY and a Taste of Country Hometown Riser.
In June, 2018 she was featured on the nationally syndicated Taste of Country Nights radio show hosted by Sam Alex and performed at Buffalo’s Taste of Country Concert featuring Thomas Rhett, Chris Janson, Scotty McCreary and Danielle Bradbury and opened up for Ray Scott, Drake White and Smithfield at this past summer’s Jam in the Valley music festival in Varysburg, NY.
She has supported multiple national acts including WYRK’s Fall acoustic show performers, David Lee Murphy, Tyler Rich and Carly Pearce as well as Jerrod Niemann, Jon Langston, Austin Jenckes, Jimmie Allen, Eric Van Houten and Faren Rachels.
Kate aspires to be a songwriter and writes all of her own material.

Kate began her career performing her original music in such New York City landmarks as CBGB's, CB's 313 Gallery, The Bitter End, Kenny's Castaway and The Lion's Den and has opened for such national acts such as Blue Oyster Cult and Nine Days.
Since hitting the music scene, she has been mesmerizing audiences with her powerful voice and her unique Country-Blues sound, delivering songs that express a raw and honest take on life and love. Her acoustic set has been described as an intense and uplifting experience which can silence a room within minutes of her taking the stage.
